Qatar: l'Italien Eni rejoint TotalEnergies pour développer le plus grand champ gazier au monde
Le Qatar a annoncé dimanche avoir choisi le géant énergétique italien Eni comme deuxième partenaire étranger, après le français TotalEnergies, pour le développement du plus grand champ de gaz naturel au monde.
« Eni », a déclaré le ministre qatari de l'Energie et PDG de Qatar Energy (QE), Saad Sherida Al-Kaabi, lors d'une conférence de presse à Doha. Le groupe pétro-gazier français a été choisi il y a une semaine pour prendre une part de 6,25% dans le projet, qui vise à aider le pays du Golfe à augmenter sa production de gaz naturel liquéfié (GNL) de 60% d'ici 2027.
